1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Global Leaders platform, website, and services available at globalleaders.io (“Platform”), operated by Global Leaders (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA.
By accessing or using the Platform, purchasing any service, or submitting any form on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- Client or You refers to any individual or entity that accesses the Platform, purchases a service, or submits information through the Platform.
- Services refers to all offerings provided by Global Leaders, including but not limited to AI-visible website design and development, brand positioning, Global Leaders Spotlight features, and any future services offered through the Platform.
- Deliverables refers to any website, content, design, or digital asset created by Global Leaders on behalf of a Client.
- Global Leaders Spotlight refers to the free directory feature on the Platform that showcases professionals across various industries.
3. Services
Website Design & Development
Global Leaders offers custom, AI-optimized website design and development services for professionals. Our standard service includes custom website design, domain setup, hosting configuration, business email setup, booking or contact form integration, AI visibility optimization (schema markup, entity optimization, structured data), and deployment on the Client’s domain.
Delivery Timeline
We aim to deliver completed websites within 48–72 hours of receiving all required information and assets from the Client. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to incomplete information provided by the Client, revisions requested by the Client, technical complications beyond our control, or high volume of orders.
"Pay If You Love It" Model
Global Leaders offers a “Pay If You Love It” pricing model for website services. Under this model, we build and deliver the complete website before any payment is required. The Client reviews the finished website on their own domain. If the Client is satisfied, the agreed fee of $999 USD (or otherwise agreed amount) is due within 7 days of delivery confirmation. If the Client is not satisfied and does not wish to proceed, no payment is required. In this case, the website, all associated files, and content will be removed from the Client’s domain within 14 days.
No credit card information is collected upfront. This model does not constitute a free service — it is a risk-free evaluation period for the Client.
Global Leaders Spotlight
The Spotlight feature is a free directory listing available to qualified professionals. Inclusion in the Spotlight is at the sole discretion of Global Leaders. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any Spotlight listing at any time without notice. Spotlight listings are provided “as is” and do not guarantee any specific visibility, traffic, or business outcomes.
4. Payment Terms
Pricing
The standard price for a Global Leaders AI-visible website is $999 USD, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pricing for additional services, add-ons, or future offerings will be communicated separately.
Payment Methods
Payments are processed through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe’s payment infrastructure.
Refund Policy
Since the “Pay If You Love It” model allows Clients to review the completed website before paying, all payments once made are final and non-refundable. If you choose to pay, it is because you have reviewed and approved the Deliverable. In rare circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the sole discretion of Global Leaders.
Overdue Payments
If a Client agrees to proceed with a website and confirms satisfaction but fails to make payment within 7 days, Global Leaders reserves the right to suspend or remove the website from the Client’s domain, retain ownership of all Deliverables until payment is received, and pursue collection of the outstanding balance.
5. Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for the project (including but not limited to professional bio, credentials, headshot, and preferences). You confirm that all content, images, and materials you provide are either owned by you or you have the legal right to use them. You will respond to communications and review requests in a reasonable timeframe. You will not use the Platform or Deliverables for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
Pre-Payment
Until full payment is received, all Deliverables (including website design, code, content, and associated files) remain the intellectual property of Global Leaders. The Client is granted a temporary, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to preview the Deliverables for evaluation purposes only.
Post-Payment
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the custom website design and content created specifically for the Client transfers to the Client. Global Leaders retains the right to use anonymized versions of the work in its portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies unless the Client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
Platform and Brand
The Global Leaders name, logo, brand identity, platform code, templates, frameworks, and proprietary tools remain the exclusive property of Global Leaders at all times. Nothing in these Terms grants the Client any rights to our intellectual property beyond the specific Deliverables paid for.
Third-Party Assets
Any third-party assets used in the Deliverables (such as stock images, fonts, or plugins) are subject to their respective licenses. Global Leaders will ensure proper licensing at the time of delivery, but ongoing compliance with third-party licenses is the Client’s responsibility.
7. Domain, Hosting, and Email
Domain Names
If Global Leaders registers a domain name on behalf of the Client, the domain is registered in the Client’s name and remains the Client’s property. If a domain is registered under Global Leaders’ account for operational reasons, we will transfer it to the Client upon request after full payment is received.
Hosting
The initial hosting setup is included in the service fee. Hosting fees after the first year are the Client’s responsibility, typically $10–$20 per month through a provider of the Client’s choice. Global Leaders is not responsible for hosting-related issues after the initial setup period unless a separate maintenance agreement is in place.
Business email setup is included in the service. Ongoing email hosting costs (if any) after the initial period are the Client’s responsibility.
8. AI Visibility and Performance
No Guarantees
Global Leaders optimizes websites for AI visibility using current best practices, including schema markup, entity optimization, structured data, and AI-crawler-friendly architecture. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to appearance in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, or any other AI platform’s recommendations. Inclusion in AI-generated responses is determined by third-party algorithms that are outside our control and subject to change.
Ongoing Optimization
AI visibility is not a one-time event. Maintaining and improving AI visibility requires ongoing optimization, content updates, and monitoring. The initial website delivery provides a strong foundation, but sustained results may require additional services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Global Leaders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of patients or clients, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or Services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Global Leaders in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Global Leaders does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any defects will be corrected, or that the Services will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
11. Privacy and Data
Data Collection
By using the Platform or submitting any form, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, professional credentials, website URL, and any other information you voluntarily provide.
Data Use
We use your information to deliver the Services you request, communicate with you regarding your project, feature you on the Global Leaders Spotlight (with your consent), improve our Platform and Services, and send relevant updates about Global Leaders (you may opt out at any time).
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers (such as hosting providers, payment processors, and email services) solely for the purpose of delivering our Services.
12. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to submit false or misleading information about your professional credentials. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity. You agree not to use the Platform for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s functionality. You agree not to scrape, copy, or reproduce any content from the Platform without written permission.
13. Termination
By the Client
You may stop using the Platform at any time. If you wish to have your Spotlight listing or any personal information removed, contact us at the email provided below and we will process your request within 30 days.
By Global Leaders
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform or Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, submission of false or misleading credentials, abusive or harmful behavior, or non-payment of agreed fees.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Global Leaders, its team members, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any content or materials you provide to us.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Global Leaders regarding your use of the Platform and Services. They supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral.
